Take a pedal boat ride on the canals of Amsterdam and discover the city in a unique way!  

From the rental office next to the Rijksmuseum, you will board a pedal boat and discover Amsterdam on the water for the duration of your choice (1h or 1h30). 

You'll soon see why Amsterdam's waterways are a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the city is beautiful from the water! Guiding your own pedal boat, you will go at your own pace to observe the architecture of the 17th century houses and even take some pictures.

Your pedal boat can accommodate up to 4 people, ideal for sharing with family and friends. Amsterdam is truly the city of cycling!

  • Validity: Every day (except in exceptional cases)

  • Timetable: Departure every 30 minutes from noon to 4.30pm (last departure)

  • Operating hours may vary depending on the weather

  • Departure: close to the Rijksmuseum (address detailed on your voucher)

  • You leave a €20,- deposit when picking up the pedal boat, which you get returned once the pedal boat is brought back to the pick-up location. 

  • Each pedal boat can carry up to 4 people

  • Children under 12 years old must be supervised by an adult
