Stay in shape and learn about the Olympic games!
Your Olympic morning will begin at the Zappeion, which is located in the national gardens. Here, visitors will learn about the importance ancient Olympic games. You will also learn about how the athletes trained, the various events added over time, as well as other anecdotes.
Next, you will go to a historical gym to truly learn about the ancient techniques and events. Try your hand at throwing the discus, the javelin, and shot put, and even have a go at the long jump.
You will then be taken to the Panathenaic Stadium, which is made entirely from white marble. Here visitors will see race course that the first modern Olympic athletes first competed on over a century ago.
