Take to the skies and explore the Atherton Tableland and the Great Dividing Range from high up!

A bus will pick you up from your hotel in Cairns very early in the morning and will take you towards Mareeba, on the Atherton Tableland. There, you will take to the skies in a hot air balloon and see the region from the air. Take in the breathtaking view of Queensland’s scenery below at sunrise.

A shuttle bus will take you back to your hotel in the morning 

Bueno saber

  • Availability: every day (excluding exceptional dates)
  • Time: 5am approx.
  • Departure point: your hotel in Cairns
  • Duration: 5 hrs. approx, 30 minutes of which in the sky
  • Language: English
     
  • Children under 3 years of age are not allowed to ride in the hot air balloon
  • You must wear closed shoes
  • If you have been diving, you must wait at least 12 hours before your hot air balloon flight
  • The flight is not private. You will share the basket with other participants  
  • The local service provider reserves the right to cancel this activity in the event of adverse weather conditions. In this case, an alternative date or a refund will be offered
  • A supplement of 30 Australian dollars per person will be requested on site for insurance
