Set off to tackle the Barron River in the heart of the Queensland rainforest!

After some instructions and advice from your guide, you will raft down the river and explore Barron Gorge National Park. You will raft down class 2 and 3 rapids, which are ideal for beginners. You can even have a relaxing swim in Lake Placid!

  • Availability: every day (excluding exceptional dates)
  • Time: 2pm
  • Departure point: your hotel in Cairns
  • Duration: 4 hrs. approx., 2 of which spent rafting
  • Language: English, Japanese and Korean
     
  • Pregnant women and children under 13 years cannot take part in this activity
  • Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult
  • This activity is ideal for beginners
  • Don’t forget to bring suitable shoes, a swimsuit, a towel, a change of clothes and sun cream
  • You are strongly advised to take off your jewellery before the activity
