Set off on a full-day safari to Chobe National Park with a river cruise and 4x4 game drive from Victoria Falls!
You will be picked up in the morning from Victoria Falls and travel to the Kazungula border to enter Botswana. After completing border formalities, you will begin your excursion in Chobe National Park, one of Southern Africa’s most renowned parks, particularly known for its large elephant population.
Your first activity will be a 3-hour safari cruise along the Chobe River. You will sail close to the riverbanks to observe wildlife coming to drink. You may spot hippos in the water, crocodiles along the shores, as well as numerous water birds. Chobe is also famous for its large herds of elephants and buffalo, often seen near the river. Tea, coffee, snacks, and soft drinks will be served during this part of the day.
You will then enjoy a lunch break at a riverside lodge, where a buffet meal will be served before continuing your exploration.
In the afternoon, you will head out on a 3-hour game drive in an open 4x4 vehicle. Accompanied by your guide, you will explore the park’s tracks in search of iconic African wildlife. Depending on the season and conditions, you may have the chance to see elephants, buffalo, antelopes, giraffes, lions, and possibly leopards. The park is also home to over 460 bird species, making it a great destination for birdwatching enthusiasts.
At the end of the afternoon, you will return to Victoria Falls and be dropped off at your hotel.
