Descripción

Discover the calm and charm of the Island of St Honorat and admire the views of the Cannes coast during the crossing!

Embark on one of the 3 boats that crosses the bay from Cannes to the Island of St Honorat. This island has been home to monks for over 16 centuries! Today, 20 Cistercian monks reside on the island, in the Lérins Abbey.

During the boat passage to the island, you will be able to enjoy the pleasures of sea navigation, the ocean spray and discover the landscape of Cannes from the sea. Admire from a distance the town’s famous Croisette and the Palais des Festival, it’s legendary hotels as well as Esterel Mountain. The views include the Golden corniche and the many gorgeous villas dotting the coastline among small fishing villages.

Once on the island, you are free to explore the sight free-of-charge and at your own pace. You may visit the Monastery Tower, the 7 chapels and the cannonball furnaces from the Napoleonic period. Wander along the trails lined with Aleppo Pine trees, take a relaxing swim in the numerous creeks and enjoy a pick nick or lunch at the island’s only restaurant before heading back to the boat. On your way back to the mainland, admire the views of the Bay of Cannes, one of the most beautiful on the Côte d’Azur.
