Explore volcanic landscapes during this hike in the South of Basse Terre!
Departing from your hotel, head to the mountainous region of Southern Basse Terre. When you arrive at the volcano, you will be given some dry fruits and a bottle of mineral water.
The hike to the summit starts from the Bains Jaunes. During the walk, your guide will tell you all about the different volcanic phases and the abundance of vegetation in the area. After a 3 hour 30 minute walk, you will be taken back to the foot of the volcano. You will then be able to relax and swim in the magnificent Bains Jaunes pools.
After a quick snack you will be taken back to your hotel at the end of the afternoon.
