- Lydgate Beach: the beach is protected from the ocean by a wall of volcanic rock, forming a peaceful lagoon, which is ideal for snorkelling. The Elvis movie Blue Hawaii was filmed here.
- The Opaekaa Falls: these are 46 metres high and 12 metres wide. They can be seen in the films Wackiest Ship in the Army and Blue Hawaii.
- The Kilauea Lighthouse viewpoint: located in the north of the island of Kauai, it's a key location in Lilo and Stitch. The lighthouse guided ships in the 1970s.
- Kapa'a town: this is a picturesque town located north of the Wailua River on the east side of Kauai. A scene from Jurassic Park was filmed here.
- Hanalei village and pier: a charming town rich in history that suffered catastrophic flooding in April 2018.
