Come aboard a sailboat for a one-hour cruise and see Lisbon from the Tagus!
Meet at the Doca do Bom Sucesso marina in Belém. You'll meet your crew and board a sailboat for a relaxing cruise.
The sailboat will take you up the Tagus River (Tejo in Portuguese), and for an hour you'll take in the sights of Lisbon.
You'll see the Tower of Belém, a monument built in the 16th century to guard the entrance to Lisbon's port. In the distance, you'll see the statue of Christ the King (Cristo Rei) overlooking the Tagus at a height of 133 meters, then reach the Monument of the Discoveries (Padrão dos Descobrimentos) built in memory of the ancient Portuguese navigators.
Finally, you'll pass under the April 25th Bridge (Ponte 25 Abril), which owes its name to the Carnation Revolution and was built by the architect of San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, hence the resemblance.
After a sailboat cruise on the Tagus, you'll be taken back to your departure point.
