Set off from Marseille to discover the lavender fields of Valensole and the landscapes of the Verdon!
You will meet your guide in Marseille in the morning before setting off by minivan towards the Provençal countryside. You will travel through typical landscapes on your way to the Valensole plateau, known for its lavandin fields.
On site, several stops will be planned so you can admire the blooming lavender fields and take photos. Your guide will explain the characteristics of this crop and its importance in the region.
You will also stop to visit a local producer. You will learn about production methods and discover various lavender-based products such as essential oil and honey.
You will then continue your day with a visit to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. You will have free time to explore this hilltop village and enjoy lunch at your own pace.
In the afternoon, you will stop to admire the landscapes of the Verdon and its turquoise waters before returning to Marseille.
