Your trip will begin with some free time for visiting the town of Stresa, famous for its luxury hotels and as a location frequented by Earnest Hemingway. You can shop, stroll around Lake Maggiore or climb to the peak of Mount Mottarone and enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore and the Alps.
Next, set off on a 2-hour cruise on Lake Maggiore, passing the Borrowmean Islands. The boat will also sail past Isola Madre, home to one of the most beautiful parks in Italy. Disembark at Isola dei Pescatori, where you will be free to walk around and have lunch (not included) before boarding the boat again to head for Isola Bella. On this little island you can explore Borromean Palace and its gardens.
Get back onto the boat to finish your cruise on Lake Maggiore for a final crossing. You'll then get back onto the bus and return to Milan for the end of the afternoon.
