Climb the beautiful Via Ferrata in Roubion with your family, friends, or even solo!
You will receive all the necessary equipment for climbing the Via Ferrata at the Point Infos Tourism in Roubion.
Along the way to the Balma Negra, you will discover little alleys, painted doors, and even the sheep fountain. The hike will continue until you reach the cliffs, where the climbing will begin in earnest.
Here you will be able to see caves carved into the rock, as you make several easy level climbs before ending up at a rope bridge. Children who are at least 1.30 meters (4ft 3in) are invited to take part in the climb.
Work on your climbing skills and reach the summit of the mountain!

- Duration: approx. 2 hours (depending on your speed ascending)
- Departure Point: Point Infos Tourisme de Roubion, at the entrance to the village
- Please note:
- A professional guide is highly advised. For groups of 4+ people, there will be an additional fee of 37€ per person (option)
- The last departure time for the Via Ferrata is at 4pm, in order to have enough time to complete the activity and then return to Point Infos Tourisme before closing at 6pm
- Due to the height along parts of the tour, participants must not suffer from vertigo or fear of heights
- Pants (for protection from the rocks), long sleeved sweaters, and good shoes which support the ankles and are comfortable are highly recommended
- Mandatory equipment to climb the via ferrata: A helmet, climbing harness, and 2 tethers with shock absorbers and safety carabiners. Rental of these items is included
- Participants must be at least 1.30 meters (4ft 3in) to participate in this activity
Children must be accompanied by an adult- For safety reasons, the activity can be cancelled due to adverse weather or strong winds. An alternative date will be proposed in this case.
This activity cannot be cancelled, modified or refunded.
