Set off to discover Lake Titicaca from Puno and learn more about Uros's customs and lifestyle!
Leaving in the early morning or afternoon from your hotel in Puno, you'll set off towards Lake Titicaca accompanied by your guide. 
You'll paddle your kayak across the lake while admiring its fauna and flora. You'll pass by the rocky island of Foroba and arrive at the floating Uros islands.
You'll visit the floating islands which are entirely made from Totora reeds. According to the legend, the Uros people wanted to escape the Incas who were expanding their empire, so they took refuge on the lake where they built these artificial islands. You'll learn about the lifestyles of the almost 300 families who live on the islands.
At the end of your half-day tour you'll be taken back to your hotel in Puno.
