Landmannalaugar, also known as the pearl of the Icelandic Highlands, is one of the most colourful and geologically active places in Iceland.
Your guide will collect you from your hotel and will take you to Landmannalaugar. During the journey you'll be able to admire the Thjórsárdalur valley and the lava fields formed by past eruptions of the Hekla volcano. On arrival in Landmannalaugar, you can have a dip in an Icelandic geothermal hot pool.
You will then start your hike and admire the colours of the Bláhnúkur mountain, Brennisteinsalda volcano and the Graenagil gorge.
At the end of the hike, you will be taken back to Reykjavik.
