In the early morning, guide by your side, you'll set off along National Route 3 and admire the glacial valleys surrounded by sub-Antarctic forests. Continue on to the Great Lakes area, near the town of Tolhuin, right next to Lake Fagnano. Stop here to check out the bakery before taking the Ruta Provincial A. This is a unique road; the steppe and forest landscapes blend together, culminating in the large cliffs over the sea. Take the opportunity to take a walk up to the Cape and admire the old lighthouse on the eastern side of the town, as well as the ship, the Desdemona, which ran aground in 1985.
After touring the wreck, head on to Estancia Las Loicas for a hearty meal featuring the catch of the day. After lunch, you'll have time for a short walk to Cape Lunar to watch the sunset. Finally, it'll be time to hit the road back to Ushuaia.
