Take an excursion to the top of Mount Susana in the Tierra del Fuego archipelago and admire the unique landscapes of southern Patagonia!
From your hotel, you will head to the starting point of your excursion, located 8 kilometres west of Ushuaia near the Beagle Channel. Accompanied by your guide, you will start your walk by taking a path through the forest where you can observe the Patagonian fauna and its varied landscapes. You will contemplate the lenga trees, which are specific to Tierra del Fuego and reach heights of 30 metres.
After about 1 hour of walking, you will exit the forest and reach a natural lookout. From there, you will make a first stop to admire the scenery around you and take pictures. You will continue your walk on the trail to the top of Mount Susana. You will cross a mountainous area with rocky ground and dense vegetation.
When you reach the top, you can take time to observe the unique view. You will admire the city of Ushuaia and the immensity of the Beagle Channel which borders the Andes. You will have a breathtaking view of the Tierra del Fuego National Park, the Darwin mountain range and the Navarino and Hoste islands among others.
You will then walk back to the vehicle, and you will be driven back to your hotel.
