Let your guide's informative commentary illuminate the city's Saint Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace!
Your trip will begin at the Doge's Palace. Formally the residence of the Duke of Venice and the city's tribunal, today it is one of the great works of Tintoretto. Your guide will take you through the beautiful rooms and tell you all about the history behind them, as well as more about the history and culture of Venice.
Next, visit Saint Marks, also known as the most beautiful room in Europe, according to Napoleon. With your skip-the-line ticket, visit the heart of the Basilica and see the frescos, mosaics, and ornaments, not to mention tombs and relics as well.
This tour will show visitors the two most famous buildings in Venice.

- Seasonal activity: Available Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from April to December only (excluding exceptional dates)
- Time: 8:30am Tuesday-Saturday; 1:30pm Sunday
- Departure point: near Ponte della Paglia
- Please note that the tour ends at the Saint Mark's Basilica
- Please note that large bags, tripods and non-collapsible umbrellas are not permitted in Saint Mark's Basilica and must be left in lockers, which may cause delays to your visit
- Comfortable shoes recommended
- In the unlikely event that St Mark's Basilica is closed, a comprehensive tour of the exterior of the Basilica will take place
- Out of respect for the religious nature of the sites, participants are asked not to wear flip-flops, shorts, skirts falling above the knee, sleeveless tops and any other innapropriate clothing
- Certain parts of the tour are exposed to the sun and can get very hot. You are advised to bring a hat, sun cream and a bottle of water
- Please note that this tour is not suitable for persons using a wheelchair or a pushchair/stroller
- In order to make the most of your guide's commentary, you will be provided with earphones
- For security reasons, the St Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace reserve the right to check the contents of bags. It is therefore possible that you experience a waiting time at the security check-point, given the high number of visitors. Your guide will make sure any delays are minimized and that you get access as quickly as possible.

No charges will be levied for cancellations made more than 7 days before the date of the activity (excluding special dates). After this, the following charges will be levied:
Between 7 and 4 days prior: 50% of the price
After this time and in case of a no-show: 100% of the price
Any reservation made for special dates cannot be cancelled, modified or refunded.
