Enjoy a panoramic lunch cruise in Venice aboard a galleon in the heart of the Venetian lagoon!
You will board late in the morning on the Galeone Veneziano, moored in front of Museo Navale, just a short walk from St. Mark’s Square. From the very start, you will step aboard a boat whose décor is inspired by the ancient vessels of the Republic of Venice and set off on a 1.5-hour cruise in the heart of the lagoon.
Throughout the cruise, you will admire some of Venice’s most famous views from the water. You will sail across St. Mark’s Basin before heading towards the Venetian Arsenale, marked by the presence of Lorenzo Quinn’s famous monumental sculptures. You will also see San Giorgio Island, the Giudecca Canal, the Basilica of the Redentore, the Hilton Molino Stucky hotel, as well as Punta della Dogana, located at the meeting point between the Grand Canal and St. Mark’s Basin.
Throughout the experience, you will enjoy a standing buffet lunch featuring both savory and sweet specialties. You will sample traditional cicchetti, all’ascolana fried olives, mini pizzas, mini Caprese, bruschetta, baccalà mantecato on toast, a selection of Italian cheeses, vegetable lasagna, as well as typical Burano biscuits and seasonal fresh fruit. An aperitif drink will also be included, with a choice of Venetian Spritz, cola, tonic water, Prosecco*, Chardonnay*, Cabernet*, or beer*. Still and sparkling water will also be available.
The cruise will end facing St. Mark’s Square, the Doge’s Palace, and the Bridge of Sighs. You will enjoy a pleasant and original way to discover Venice differently, combining cruising, lunch, and open views over the city’s landmarks.
