Discover Mozart and Strauss' greatest works during a concert by the Vienna Mozart Orchestra, in the Musikverein or at the Vienna State Opera!

 

The Vienna Mozart Orchestra was founded in 1986 and consists of 30 musicians, 2 soloists and a conductor. Throughout the summer, they welcome guests to the most important concert halls in the Austrian capital where they perform the works of the two most famous Austrian composers: Mozart and Strauss.

 

Depending on the day, you can enjoy the concert at the Musikverein, where the famous Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra performs on New Year''s Eve, or at the Vienna State Opera.

 

The musicians will perform the greatest works of both composers: the overtures and duets from Don Giovanni, The Magic Flute or The Marriage of Figaro, the 40th and 41st symphonies, Mozart''s piano, violin or flute concertos or Johann Strauss'' famous Blue Danube and Radetzky March.

  • Please arrive 30 minutes before the start of the performance
  • Formal dress is required
  • Recording the concert and taking photographs is forbidden
  • No food or drink may be brought into the concert halls
  • This activity is not accessible to children under 5 years old
